Features
Brand: included in every Melta product
For anyone who wants a product that looks like their brand rather than a template. Every Melta product ships with its own design: colours per role, fonts, corners and shadows, a dark mode if you want one, plus a logo and images for its pages. You see and edit all of it on the design page, without a rebuild. That includes your own domain: bought through Melta or connected, certificate included.
What you get
At Melta, design is not a coat of paint applied at the end. It is a declaration that belongs to every product: the build sets how the product looks, and afterwards you can read it, check it and change it, much like a price or a line of text.
A declared design
Every product declares its look: colours per role such as background, primary, accent and borders, an optional dark mode, the fonts, the corner radius and the shadows. The same rules apply across the whole product.
The design page
Inside Melta you see your product's design with a contrast table for the colours, font samples and samples of radius and shadows. You edit it right there, and the change reaches the product without a rebuild.
Component gallery
A gallery shows your product's real building blocks: buttons, forms, cards, tables, dialogs and empty states. Not samples from a catalogue, but what your users actually see.
Logo and images
The logo is generated as an image mark with no text in it; the name stays as text beside it. Replace it by uploading your own or have a new one generated from a brand description. Images for the pages are created during the build.
How it works
- Describe - Say how the product should feel: calm, bold, playful, dark. If you already have a brand with colours and fonts, name them. All of it flows into the concept, which you refine by chat until it fits.
- Build - Once you confirm, Melta builds the product, typically within 24 hours. Along the way it declares the design, generates the logo as an image mark and creates the images for the pages. You get an email when it is done.
- Review - On the design page you check colours and contrast, font samples, radius and shadows; the component gallery shows the real building blocks. In the private preview, seeded with demo data, you see everything working together.
- Adjust - Change a colour, switch a font, add a dark mode, swap the logo: all of that happens on the design page, without a rebuild. For bigger changes such as a new page or a waitlist, send a chat message to your product's editor. The preview updates live, and change runs are included in every plan.
- Release - Before every release, Melta checks the product on a 390 pixel wide screen: if anything overflows sideways or a control is too small to tap, it shows up now rather than in front of your customers. Then you go live, in seconds and without a rebuild.
Who this matters for
Agencies building for clients. A product built for a client has to match the client's brand, not the agency's. You adjust colours, fonts and logo on the design page after the build, and the component gallery lets the client see their product piece by piece before it goes live. More under Melta for agencies.
Creators with a personal brand. For a course area, a community or a paid tool, the brand is the person behind it. The image mark, a recognisable colour and a fitting font are part of the first build; as your look evolves, the product follows without a rebuild. See Melta for creators.
SaaS products that need trust. A tool people pay for every month has to look the same everywhere: the same buttons, forms and empty states, in dark mode too if you want it. The declared design takes care of that, and the gallery makes it visible. See Build a SaaS product.
The example products show how differently products built with Melta can look.
What it costs
A concept uses only a few credits; afterwards your product runs on a plan per organisation with credits every month. All numbers and how the price is made up are on the pricing page.
Common questions
Can I change colours and fonts later without a rebuild?
Yes. On your product's design page you edit colours per role, fonts, corner radius, shadows and the dark mode directly, and the change reaches the product without a rebuild. For bigger changes such as a new page or a different layout, you send a chat message to the editor. Change runs are included in every plan.
Where does the logo come from?
During the build a logo is generated as an image mark, with no text in the image; the product name stays as text beside it. If it does not fit, you upload your own logo or have a new one generated from a short brand description.
I already have a brand. Can I bring my logo, colours and fonts?
Yes. Name your colours, fonts and the feel you want in your description and they flow into the concept. After the build you upload your logo and adjust colours and fonts on the design page, without a rebuild.
Is there a dark mode?
Yes, as part of the declared design when your product needs it. The dark colours per role sit beside the light ones on the design page, and you add or change them there without a rebuild.
What does Melta check on a phone before a release?
Every release is checked on a 390 pixel wide screen: whether a page overflows sideways and whether controls are too small to tap. That way it shows up before the release, not in front of your customers.
