Who it is for
Melta for clubs and associations
For sports clubs, cultural associations and federations that want to stop running members, fees, events and sponsors out of spreadsheets and chat groups. Describe your club in your own words; Melta builds a product of your own with a member area, payments and legal pages, puts it online and runs it - in a way a volunteer board can manage on the side.
Where you are today
A club runs on people who give up their evenings for it, and the tools rarely keep up: the member list lives in the treasurer's spreadsheet, the annual fee gets ticked off by hand, tournament sign-ups are scattered across three chat groups, and the sponsor agreement sits in a folder only the chair can find. Off-the-shelf club software rarely fits exactly, an agency costs more than the treasury can bear, and every board change loses knowledge that lived in people's heads rather than in a system the club owns.
What Melta builds for you
Member area with paid membership
Every member gets a login with registration, password reset and a confirmed email address. The annual fee runs as a self-renewing subscription or a one-time card payment, and the board sees who has paid. Member categories such as active, passive or juniors are set in the concept; minutes and statutes sit behind the login. More under member area.
Sponsor packages for local partners
The local bank, the sports shop, the pub: instead of loose arrangements, sponsors book fixed annual packages with logo, link and, if you like, their own partner page - paid inside the product, with an email receipt and automatic renewal. The example product Steigwärts, a via ferrata guide, is funded exactly this way. More under sponsorship platform.
Events with sign-up and tickets
Tournament, club trip, annual concert, general assembly: create the date, cap the places, collect sign-ups. If the event costs something, participants buy their ticket inside the product and get a confirmation by email; helpers at the door see the participant list. More under event tickets.
A tool volunteers can run
After launch, every change is a chat message to your product's editor: a new member category, a different fee, an extra form. You watch it take shape, can step in, check it in the preview and put it live. No one needs to write code - not the next board either. Change runs are included in every plan.
Every Melta product also brings its own database, email under the club's name, a support inbox that sorts incoming questions automatically, cookieless visitor statistics with no cookie banner, and error monitoring. Imprint, privacy policy and terms are generated from the club's operator details, aimed at Switzerland, Germany and Austria - general information, not legal advice - and updated without a rebuild when the address or the board changes.
How it works
- Describe - Explain your club as you would to a new member: who can join, which fees, events and sponsors there are. Melta asks at most four clarifying questions, none of them technical.
- Read the concept - You get a concept in plain language: areas, roles, how people pay. Change it in the chat until it fits.
- Have it built - When you approve, the build starts, paid from the credits of your plan. Melta builds the whole product, typically within 24 hours, and you get an email when it is done.
- Test in the preview - The private preview comes with demo data and named test logins: sign in as member, treasurer and sponsor, pay a fee and a ticket with test data. No real money changes hands.
- Go live - First you enter the operator details and, if the product sells something, the club's bank account; Melta checks that both are complete. Going live takes seconds, with no rebuild; you choose which preview data to carry over and can roll back to the previous live version.
- Change by chat - Everything after that is a message to your product's editor. The preview updates while it works; the change goes live when you say so.
What it costs
A concept uses only a few credits; afterwards your product runs on a plan per organisation with credits every month. All numbers and how the price is made up are on the pricing page.
Common questions
Our board changes every two years. What happens to the product then?
The product belongs to the club as an organisation, not to the person who set it up. From the Growth plan, several team members have their own access; a new board takes over the accounts and the data stays put. Melta keeps running the product, and the new board sends change requests by chat, just as before.
Can members pay their fee online, and where does the money go?
Yes. The fee runs as a subscription or a one-time card payment inside the product, and the member sees your club as the merchant. Payouts go to the club's bank account, which you enter in Melta with the operator details - no separate contract with a payment provider. Card processing and your plan's share are deducted from each payment and never invoiced separately.
Do we need an imprint, privacy policy and terms as a club?
Melta generates all three from the club's operator details, aimed at Switzerland, Germany and Austria, and checks before go-live that they are complete. That is general information, not legal advice; if in doubt, ask a professional what your club has to publish.
Nobody in our club is technical. Is that enough?
Yes. Describe, read the concept, test in the preview, change by chat later - that is all the board does; Melta handles the build and the running. Members' questions land in your product's support inbox, sorted automatically; you answer them yourselves, and the AI auto-reply is off by default.
Describe your club. Melta does the rest.
The concept costs only a few credits; the build starts only when you approve it. From then on Melta takes care of the build and the running - member area, payments and legal pages included.
