Who it is for
Melta for founders
For people with a startup or SaaS idea but no technical co-founder and no agency budget. You describe your product in plain language, get a concept, and a team of AI agents builds the finished product with logins, payments and legal pages. You own what runs.
Where you are today
The idea has been there for a while. You have talked to people who know the problem, and you know roughly what they would pay for. What is missing is the product. Developers are expensive or hard to find, an agency wants a budget you would rather not spend before your first customer, and a technical co-founder is nowhere in sight. A website builder gets you a landing page, but not a login, a subscription or a payout. This is where Melta comes in: you describe what the product should do and get a concept in plain language. That is your first validation, before anyone spends money. If it fits, the product gets built, typically within 24 hours.
What Melta builds for you
Melta does not build prototypes. It builds complete products that can take money from day one. Four patterns founders often describe:
SaaS with subscriptions
A tool for a niche, paid monthly or yearly. Customer accounts, roles, its own database and the checkout are built in; access ends when the subscription ends. Read more under build a SaaS product.
Directory or sponsorship platform
A list of providers, places or offers, financed by paid listings or sponsor packages. The example product Steigwärts does this with yearly sponsor packages.
Member area
Content, templates or tools behind a login with paid membership. One-time purchase and subscription can sit side by side, and whoever pays sees more right away.
Tool with a one-time purchase
A result paid for once, such as a report or an evaluation as a PDF. The example product ÜbergabeFix sells this way, one-time purchase and yearly plan side by side.
Each of them arrives complete: registration, password reset, email confirmation and roles, its own isolated database, transactional email under the product's name, a support inbox, imprint, privacy policy and terms generated from your operator details, cookieless analytics, error monitoring, a design system and a generated logo. Hosting is globally distributed, scales by itself and needs no server.
How it works
- Describe - You write in your own words what your product does, who it is for and what it costs. Melta asks up to four clarifying questions, none of them technical.
- Check the concept - You receive a concept in plain language. You revise it in the chat until it fits - or you realise the idea is not ready yet. Up to this point it has cost you nothing.
- Build - When you approve, the build starts, paid from the credits of your plan. Melta builds the interface, logic, accounts, database, payments, email and legal pages, typically within 24 hours. You get an email when it is done.
- Test the preview - Your private preview comes seeded with demo data and named test logins. You walk through registration, subscription and purchase with test data, no real money moves, and show it to first users or investors.
- Go live - Before the switch, Melta checks that your operator details for the imprint are complete and, if your product sells something, that your payout account is connected. Then it goes live in seconds, no rebuild. You choose which preview data to carry over. Rolling back to the previous live version stays possible.
- Keep improving by chat - Make the button green, add a waitlist: you tell your product's editor, watch it work, can step in mid-run and deploy the change to preview or live. Change runs are included in every plan.
What it costs
A concept uses only a few credits; afterwards your product runs on a plan per organisation with credits every month. All numbers and how the price is made up are on the pricing page.
Common questions
Do I need a technical co-founder?
No. You describe your product in plain language, and both the clarifying questions and the concept stay non-technical. Melta builds and runs the product. You do not have to make technical decisions.
Do I own the product?
You own what runs. Your product runs under your name, on a melta.ai subdomain or, from the Growth plan, on your own domain. Its data sits in its own isolated database, your customers see you as the merchant, and the payouts go to your bank account.
Can I show the preview to first users or investors?
Yes. The preview is private and comes seeded with demo data and named test logins. Registration, subscription and purchase can be walked through with test data, and no real money moves. You show a working product instead of slides.
What if the idea changes after launch?
You describe the change in a chat with your product's editor, watch the preview update live and release it when it fits. Change runs are included in every plan. If something goes wrong, you roll back to the previous live version.
Your idea, as a finished product.
A concept uses only a few credits. It gets built, put online and operated as soon as you approve it - with logins, payments and legal pages.
