Who it is for
Melta for agencies
For agencies and studios that deliver digital products to their clients: bookings, member areas, portals, small SaaS tools. You write the concept, review the preview and hand over. Melta builds the product, puts it online and runs it - with your client's brand, domain, legal pages and payout account.
Where you stand today
Your client does not want a project, they want a product that runs: a booking tool that takes appointments, a portal their customers sign in to, a subscription that gets billed. For you, each of those means an estimate, design, development, hosting and a maintenance contract, and with smaller budgets the numbers do not add up: you decline, or you build on a website builder that hits its limits at logins, roles and payments. And once it is live, servers, updates, payments, mail and legal pages stay on your desk. This is where Melta comes in.
What Melta builds for you
Every product starts from a plain-language concept and comes with logins, its own isolated database, payments, email, legal pages, a support inbox, cookieless analytics and error monitoring. Products agencies typically deliver:
Booking system for a practice or studio
Appointments, classes, subscriptions and customer accounts for a physiotherapy practice, a yoga studio or a driving school. Example product: SOMA Yoga Zürich. More under booking system.
Member area for a club or association
Registration, roles, paid membership as an annual subscription, content for members only. More under member area.
Customer portal for a business
Your client's customers see orders, documents and reports and submit requests. More under customer portal.
Directory or platform with sponsors
A regional directory or guide financed through sponsor packages, like the example product Steigwärts. More under sponsorship platform.
What stays with you and what Melta takes over
Melta is not a white-label builder you resell under your own name. Your clients' products carry their brand - colours, fonts, logo, their own domain from the Growth plan, legal pages from their operator details, emails under the product's name. You remain your client's contact, write the concept and decide what goes live. Melta builds and runs.
You get one organisation with team members and several products, 5 on Growth and 30 on Scale. Operator details, design, logo, domain and payout account belong to the individual product, not to the organisation. Money from sales goes straight to your client's bank account, not through you.
How it works
- Describe - You sum up in plain language what your client wants. Melta asks up to four non-technical questions, about the audience or the payment model.
- Agree on the concept - You get a concept in plain language, go through it with your client and have it revised by chat until it fits.
- Build - The build starts when you approve, paid from the credits of your plan. Melta builds the complete product: interface, logic, accounts, database, payments, email, legal pages - typically within 24 hours. You get an email when it is done.
- Review the preview - The private preview comes seeded with demo data and named test logins; test purchases run with test data, no real money. On the design page you switch colours, fonts and logo to their brand, no rebuild, and show it to them.
- Go live - You enter your client's operator details and, if the product sells something, their payout account. Melta checks both, then the product goes live in seconds, no rebuild. You choose which preview data to carry over and can roll back to the previous live version.
- Change by chat - After handover, change requests go into the product's chat: "make the button green", "add a waitlist". You watch it work, can steer or interrupt, the preview updates live, and you deploy to preview or live from the chat.
What it costs
A concept uses only a few credits; afterwards your product runs on a plan per organisation with credits every month. All numbers and how the price is made up are on the pricing page.
Common questions
Will my client see that their product runs on Melta?
That depends on the plan. Colours, logo and legal pages are always theirs. From the Growth plan, the address and emails run on their own domain; on Starter the product lives on a melta.ai subdomain. The editor where you write changes is Melta's, meant for your team, not for your client's end customers.
Where does the money go when a client product sells something?
To your client's bank account, because they are the operator. Their business details and bank account are entered in Melta per product, with no separate contract with a payment provider. Buyers see the product as the merchant. The plan's share and card processing come off each payment; there is no separate invoice.
How many clients can I run in one organisation?
As many products as your plan allows: 1 on Starter, 5 on Growth, 30 on Scale, Enterprise on request. Team members come with the plan, 5 on Growth and 25 on Scale. The plan is billed per organisation, not per client product.
What happens after the handover when the client wants a change?
They come to you, you write the request into the product's chat and check the result in the preview before going live. If something goes wrong, you roll back to the previous live version. Nothing extra to pay: change runs are part of every plan.
Your next client product: you write the concept, Melta builds and runs it.
A concept uses only a few credits. The build starts once you approve it - typically within 24 hours, with a preview you can show your client.
