Member area platform for clubs, communities and courses

For clubs, communities, course providers and anyone who offers content to members only. You describe who gets access and what sits behind the login. Melta builds the member area, puts it online and operates it for you.

What a member area platform from Melta includes

A member area is more than a login in front of a page. It decides who gets in, what that person sees, what they pay for and how you stay in touch with them. These building blocks are part of every member area platform Melta builds for you:

Registration and roles

Members sign up with email and password, confirm their address and receive a role: member, board, coach, admin. You decide who can see and do what.

Paid membership

Monthly or annual fee, a one-time joining fee or tiered levels. The fee is collected through the payment provider; the member is unlocked automatically and locked again when the membership ends.

Exclusive content

Course videos, documents, minutes, training plans or an internal forum, visible only to the roles you choose. Public pages stay public.

Events

Create dates, collect registrations, keep attendee lists, send reminders. With limited places and a waiting list if you want them.

Member directory

Who is in, what role they have, how to reach them. Each member decides which details are visible to others.

Notifications

Welcome email, payment confirmation, reminder before an event, note about new content. All sent by email straight from your product.

How your member area platform is built

  1. Describe - You explain in your own words who can become a member, what members see and whether they pay. No specification document, no jargon.
  2. Read the concept - Melta writes a concept in plain language: pages, roles, fee model. You change it until it fits.
  3. Confirm - When you confirm, the build starts, paid from the credits of your plan. Then Melta builds the product. A full build can take up to about a day.
  4. Check the preview - You get a preview with test accounts and demo data. You sign up as a member, take out a test membership and check the content behind the login.
  5. Go live - You decide when the member area goes online. Preview and live are separate environments; nothing goes live without you.
  6. Keep improving - From then on every change is a chat message: a new role, a different fee, an extra page. Change runs are included in every plan.

Example product: Steigwärts

Steigwärts is an example product built with Melta: a community for people who love the mountains. It combines a directory of routes with a personal tour log for each member and friend features for planning tours together. The tour log belongs to the member and sits behind the login; planning with friends requires both of you to be in. This mix of an open part and a protected member area is typical for communities, and it can be described in a few sentences.

Operated for you: what Melta takes care of

Building the member area platform is one half. The other half is running it, and at Melta that comes with it:

You own what runs.

What it costs

A concept uses only a few credits; afterwards your product runs on a plan per organisation with credits every month. All numbers and how the price is made up are on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need technical knowledge to build a member area?

No. You describe in your own words who can become a member, what members see and whether they pay for it. Melta turns that into a concept in plain language, and after you confirm it a team of AI agents builds the product. You never write code, not even later.

Can members pay inside the product?

Yes. One-time payments, subscriptions and checkout are connected. A member takes out an annual subscription, pays by card and is unlocked right away. Card processing is deducted from each payment and never invoiced separately.

How long until the member area is online?

You receive the concept shortly after your description. A full build can take up to about a day. Then you check the preview with test accounts and decide yourself when the member area goes live.

What happens when I want to change something later?

You write the change as a chat message in plain language, for example a new role, a different fee or an extra page. The change appears in the preview first. You put it live when it is right. Change runs are included in every plan.

Does the member area run on my own domain?

Yes. From the Growth plan you connect an existing domain or buy a new one through Melta. On the Starter plan your product runs on a melta.ai subdomain.

Describe your member area - Melta does the rest.

A concept uses only a few credits. It is built, put online and operated once you approve it.
